008-This is the first Colliery Managers House built by Staveley Coal & Iron Company on Carter Lane going out of the village towards Shirebrook. The house was deemed not to be suitable because the Headgear Pulleys could not be seen from the upstairs windows. This house ended up as the home of the Warsop Vale Church curates and became known as “The Parsonage”.
